Hari Raya Puasa
Hari Raya Puasa - It is a Muslim religious observance commemorates the end of Ramadan, a fasting month observed by all Muslims whereby no one is allowed to eat between day break till dawn.


During the fasting month every year, the scene near Sultan Mosque at North Bridge Road is busy and colorful.
Dozens of stalls are assembled to sell Malay and Indian Muslim food for the breaking of the daily fast. This is a good opportunities sample home cooked Muslim specialties. Around Geylang Serai and Malay Village, lightings and Bazaar Malam (Night Market) is a must for all to visit. It is also a great time to purchase Muslim festive food, Persian carpets and house deco, Indonesian Teak furniture at the Bazaar Malam.
